A Moment of Panic; Fabric Friday.
I was quilting along yesterday, I had a couple of thread breaks, so I decided it was time to change the needle. I had changed it in the middle of the quilt before, which is why I didn't want to change at the start of the quilt, but I was just past the mid-point and figured it was time. So, I take out my needle and switch for a new one and the new one won't stay in. The screw that holds the needle in place would not stay in unless there was no needle in the machine. A piece of the screw must have broken off. But my fabulous dealer pulled a new screw for me off of another machine, and thank goodness that was the answer!
So, I had a finish this week! I just finished it off this afternoon. I finished after I got my new screw and groceries. I also bought some fabric last weekend. I got some solids and a couple of the prints from the De La Luna line that just came out designed by Tula Pink. So, here's how the numbers work out:
Fabric in this week: 7.125 yards
Fabric out this week: 9.708 yards
Net Fabric this week: -2.583 yards
Net Fabric 2018: 93.352 yards
I'm still going down, not quickly, but it's still going. So, I will keep working, not sure if I will be working over the weekend or not, but until next time,
Piece and Long Arm!
