Another Fabric Friday has FINALLY arrived, I know, you've been waiting and waiting, very patiently, I might add.
So if you were able to read my post from yesterday, you know where I've been for the past couple of weeks. It's been a zoo around here. But I was able to get some finishes in, and I was able to abate my desire to go fabric shopping while I was on vacation (where I really wanted to go would have been a 3+ hour solo trek, just didn't feel like leaving the hubby and pups for that long. Too much fun would have been had without me). So the good news is, there were some finishes, and I have been using up some fabric. The bad news is... Well, you'll see... Let's look at the number shall we?
Fabric in this week: 0 yards
Fabric out this week: 2.536 yards
Net Fabric this week: -2.536 yards
Net Fabric 2018: 95.935 yards
So, I'm finally under 100 yards to the positive again for the year, which is a good thing. This week I finished (and mailed off this morning) a quilt for the Etsy shop. I have been working on another top, and I have one ready to go on the long arm machine. I have 5 (yeah you read that right) people that I want to give quilts to this Christmas time, 1 is fully done, and I may give my Rainbow Bear Paw quilt as a gift, too. We will see if I make anything else this year that I like better...;)
So hopefully things will be settling down a bit here. We have some new exterior doors being installed hopefully next week (we will see, they keep getting delayed, dang custom orders), and then hopefully we can get our landscaping done and we will have our big house projects nearly finished for the year.
This weekend, my plans are to do a couple of big household chores and then do some sewing, if I can! Hope you can find some time to do some sewing, too. Until next time:
Piece and Long Arm!
