Fabric Friday, Just a bit late
Hello my friends! Well, Friday for me was a wash, I felt terrible, I had some sort of stomach bug, and I just felt AWFUL... I ended up sleeping.all.day! I guess I needed the rest, and when I was asleep was the only time I didn't feel horrible.
But, the weekend has passed, and now, I feel much better. About everything except for the fact that our internet is down. So, I am working in my remote office on a Monday of all days! But it's all good. It will be fixed soon, and it will be better than it was before.
As you can imagine with such a bad start, my weekend was fairly uneventful. I did manage to finish a quilt (all but turning the binding) before I got sick, it was in process in the picture. I think it is the perfect combination. An Elizabeth Hartman Pattern, Cotton + Steel Fabrics, and a Moda Grunge Background. To me, perfection! I am hoping to be able to post pics once it is finished, but sometimes I get crazy and just ship quilts out before I take pictures of them! :)
FAST TOPIC CHANGE: If you're not already a member of my Facebook Quilt Raffle Group and would like to be, please send a request to join, I will make sure to add you. Our first two raffles should be happening any day now, so make you shake your tail feather on over there!
So, fabric Friday... Well, there's good news and bad news. :) Here are the numbers:
Fabric in this week: 5 yards
Fabric out this week: 3.723 yards
Net Fabric this week: 1.277 yards
Net Fabric 2018: 84.034 yards
So, the good news is, some fabric was used, the bad news is that it was less than what came in. So, I'm going up slowly, but I'm still going UP! Yikes! I took out the backing for the Fox Quilt that I finished this week, as well as the binding. My kit for the Angela Walters FMQ-along Challenge 2 was what came in, so it's exciting. Although, I'm still struggling to figure out how I'm going to juggle that with my regular work, my Graffiti Quilting Master Class, and TRYING TO USE UP SOME OF THIS STINKING FABRIC! I am sure I will manage, I just need to come up with a creative solution. And soon.
Ok cuties, that's about all I have for today. So, I will catch you next time! Until then,
Piece! And Long arm!
