What a match!!!
My husband and I are very into watching the Olympics. This year, we have been heavily invested in the Curling... Really, it was hard not to be swept up in the story this year, very compelling competition. And congrats to the US men on their Gold metal!!! So what does curling have to do with this blog you ask? Well, the reason I didn't blog yesterday (which I try to do faithfully on Fridays), is because I was taking my disco nap so I could watch the curling match! Guys, cut me a break, it didn't start until 1:30 am here! And YES, I HAD to watch it live, no spoilers for this girl!
I am also avoiding talking about my fabric stash, as it took a major upswing this week... Ok, let's just talk about this. I bought background and backing fabric for two quilts, Home for the Holidays (featuring V and Co fabrics, which I love) and a quilt I am going to make from this fat eighth bundle. Go ahead and look, I'll wait. :) Plus, I got 16 backings for my Etsy shop quilts. So all of that added up to a LOT of fabric. Well, let's just look at the numbers ok?
Fabric in this week: 45.625
Fabric out this week: 6.59
Net Fabric this week: 39.035
Net Fabric 2018: 55.714
Hey look, I had some finishes! Yesterday I sent out an Etsy shop quilt, and I also finished the top of my Foxes III quilt! (Pics to follow soon) So I took over 6½ yards of fabric out. But you're right, I should not be wasting time typing, I need to get to sewing. So, until next time, friends...
