We've Got Issues...
2018 has had a bit of a rocky start for the hubby and me. I started writing the whole laundry list of house issues we're having all at once right now, but it seemed too much like complaining. I don't want to seem ungrateful. We have a roof over our heads, and heat, and food in our bellies. The short version of this very long story is that we are living without any bathroom facilities and we do have water, but aren't able to let any of it fall down any drain. It can be difficult for me to focus on the positive when things start to happen en-masse like this. I am trying to do just that, though. So let's talk about something else. :)
Before the house madness, I was able to complete my goals for the year! I came up with the following:
- Keep up fabric tracking and attain a net negative for this year.
- Make 1 quilt to enter into 2019 Quilt Con and make plans to attend! Yay Nashville!
- After my bulk quilting is done, keep no more than 3 quilts in the backlog, finish all work and 2 quarterly quilts as well as 3 quilts for family members who haven't received one yet.
I am working on 3 year long projects as I mentioned here. So those, I guess are part of my goals, too, but 2 of them should be done before the end of the year, that's sorta the plan, anyway.
So that's about all that I have for now. I should really get back to my dogs. So until next time:
