Fabric Stash Friday (Late Edition)
Hey all! I was busy actually sewing on Friday, and didn't get a chance to do any quilt math or blogging. I apologize for the delay! I have been working on some secret sewing, which should be revealed fairly soon, but in the meantime, it's under wraps. So I was obviously able to get some finishes last week. I got a Link top done for the Etsy shop, he is featured in the main post photo. I was also able to finish one other secret crib sized quilt top. I got a third top almost half-way done. So my totals this week are good, and they (hopefully) will also be great next week.
This is what this week looks like:
Fabric in this week: 0
Fabric out this week: 2.619
Net Fabric this week: -2.619
Net Fabric 2018: 21.068
So, I'm chipping away at my large purchase at the beginning of the year. I am excited that my shop inventory is starting to dwindle down. I have been able to make my last six quilts out of my fabric inventory.
I have also been looking very closely at the projects that I have in my "To Do" list this week. I have taken a couple of projects out, and they happened to be ones that I already picked out fabric for, those went back into the fabric stash, and I found another project that I'm actually excited to do that I can use the fabric for! I took them off because they have been shoved to the bottom of the priority list for at least three years on a row now, which tells me that I don't REALLY want to make them. I still have the patterns, so if, in the future, I DO want to make them, I still can. I just don't want to clutter up my mind with projects that I don't feel passionate about. I was able to tidy up my sewing space and my brain space a little! Always a good thing!
Tomorrow happens to be my Birthday... My husband and I have a reservation for dinner. And I already got my gift (a subscription to Quiltfolk Magazine). So tomorrow, I will more than likely just be working and having out with my dogs (a typical Monday :))
Other than that, I don't have much new to report. So I will be off. Until next time!
